Become a volunteer for @tatconblackpool 2020

We’re on the hunt for some great volunteers who are keen to work full shifts and join our convention team. Please read the following carefully before you decide if volunteering is for you!

We value our volunteers and we hope to make your experience with us enjoyable and rewarding. A full health and safety briefing is required before entering the Norcalympia Exhibition Centre as a volunteer, over 18's only, this is not a paid role.

Blackpools only tattoo convention is back for its 7th year running for two action packed days of tattooing, live music, family shows, entertainment, trade stalls, fire shows, burlesque, side shows, cosplay, stilt walkers, licenced bar and much more.

Benefits of Volunteering
▪️Volunteer t-shirt (for volunteers working a Saturday/Sunday shift only)
▪️Able to attend the event for free, outside of your shift hours

Set up/Break down
▪️Assisting in setting up for the event before the start date (Thursday 13th and Friday 14th of August) and after the event in packing everything down (Monday August 17th).

Volenteering floor assistance
▪️This position will have a variety of roles over the course of the event from helping set up and break down of Tatcon on the Thursday/Friday and Sunday, assisting visitors during the convention, providing information, answering questions, relieving other volunteers for breaks, helping with show set-up and take down, ensuring tattoo artists and traders have waste bags/black bags, ensuring the convention is tidy at all times and any other general jobs that may arise.
▪️Adaptable disposition and willingness to use initiative required.
▪️August 15th and 16th Times TBC

Photocopy & Stencil Room assistants
▪️Assisting artists with photocopying and thermal printing needs.
▪️Communication skills and attention to detail, knowledge of photocopiers and photo shop is beneficial.
