Hello Anna, how would you like introduce yourself to our readers?
I’m a fine line tattoo artist born in Ukraine, now chasing new adventures across the U.S. My work is all about delicate lines, floral stories, and freehand flow. I travel a lot. Movement keeps my creativity alive.

Where did your fascination for tattoos come from?
My fascination with tattoos started in my teenage years. I was always into drawing and had a bit of a rebellious streak. At 16, I even shaved half my head to look like Skrillex. Thankfully, there’s no surviving photo evidence of that phase.

How and when did you start tattooing?
I started tattooing 8 years ago in my tiny apartment. My mom and grandma weren’t thrilled but at least they didn’t stop me. Back then, I was finishing my degree in journalism, but deep down I knew: that world wasn’t mine. Tattooing turned out to be the real calling.

Where are you currently based?
I once heard a phrase: “All I’ve got is courage in empty pockets.” That stuck with me. Right now, I don’t have a base; it’s just me, my car, a few essentials, and a hunger for adventure. I travel across the U.S., guest spot in studios, and collect stories along the way.

A life on the road sounds amazing. And what can  you tell us about your tattoo style?
My tattoo style is soft, feminine, and full of contrast. I’m drawn to fine lines and delicate details; I love creating designs that flow with the body and highlight its natural beauty.

What kind of tattoo projects do you like to do the most?
What I love most is freehand floral work. There’s a special kind of magic in creating something directly on the skin; neither I nor the client fully knows what it’ll become until it unfolds. It’s pure intuition, imagination, and trust at the moment.

What’s the main source of inspiration for your tattoos?
My inspiration comes from nature and the human form, the way flowers grow wild yet balanced, the way lines can flow with the body’s rhythm. I see the skin as a living canvas where organic shapes can bloom and become part of someone’s story.

What’s the most challenging aspect of being a tattoo artist in 2025?
I would say it’s building a brand solo. When you don’t have a team, you become everything at once: artist, photographer, editor, manager, creator, and social media person. It can get overwhelming, but it’s all part of the journey.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a tattoo artist?
The most rewarding part of this job is, without a doubt, freedom: to move, to choose, to create on my own terms. I’m deeply grateful every day for the path I’ve chosen. It rarely feels like work, because I truly love what I do and that love also gives me independence.

What advice would you offer to someone considering a career as a tattoo artist?
Focus on growth, not perfection. Stay curious, stay kind to yourself, and always remember why you started. This path can be challenging — there will be doubts, slow days, and moments of comparison. But if you truly love what you do and stay honest with yourself, you’ll keep finding your way.

Who are the people you admire the most within the tattoo community?
I’m always looking for new sources of inspiration in the tattoo community. But here are some tattoo artist I admire for the long time: Tamara Shatirishvili, Zihwa, James Lau and Marek.

What’s your biggest accomplishment as a tattoo artist?
One of my biggest achievements as a tattoo artist is building an independent and recognizable career across three countries — Ukraine, Germany, and now the U.S, while staying true to my unique style: fine line, black ink only, with a focus on contrast, detail, and emotion. I’m proud to attract clients who deeply connect with my work and trust me to create something meaningful for them; not just a tattoo, but a personal experience.

What are your goals or dreams for the near future?
My dream is to keep growing as an artist, traveling the world with my tattoo machine, and connecting with people through meaningful, timeless designs. I want to collaborate with inspiring brands, work at international conventions, and eventually open a creative space of my own studio that feels like home for both artists and clients. More than anything, I want to stay true to my vision and continue creating art that resonates deeply with people’s stories and emotions.

Is there anything else you would like to tell our readers?
I was born in a small town in Eastern Ukraine, in a modest family, and I always dreamed of something more. For a long time, my quiet nature and humility didn’t allow me to dream big and sometimes I still can’t believe how far I’ve come. But my determination, hard work, and desire for more brought me to where I am today. And I’m not planning to stop. You can achieve absolutely anything you want; sometimes all it takes is a little more courage and a lot of self-belief.
