For the readers who are not familiar with you, how would you introduce yourself?
Hello everyone, I am from Inner Mongolia, and I mainly focus on traditional Chinese tattoo styles, particularly ink painting.
Where did your fascination for tattoos come from?
I’ve always been fascinated by tattoos because I’ve met many friends who have tattoos, and I think their stories and the way they express themselves through tattoos really inspired me.
How and when did you start tattooing?
I was first introduced to tattoos about 10 years ago, though my serious journey into the industry began after I moved to Paris.
How would you describe the tattoo scene in France these days?
France has a rich cultural heritage, and Paris is full of visitors from all over the world. However, the tattoo scene here mainly focuses on line-based styles, even though there is a growing interest in other techniques.
How would you define your tattoo style?
My style is a fusion of new Chinese tradition and classic ink painting. It’s a blend of old-world beauty and contemporary tattooing.
What kind of tattoo projects do you like to do the most?
I particularly enjoy working on large black and white traditional tattoos that give me the space to fully express the delicate details of Chinese art.
What’s the main source of inspiration for your tattoos?
I draw most of my inspiration from Song Dynasty painting and Ukiyo-e art. Both styles carry deep history and profound aesthetics that influence my work.
What’s the most challenging aspect of being a tattoo artist in 2025?
The most challenging part is finding your unique position in the tattoo industry and defining your future development goals in an ever-evolving space.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a tattoo artist?
For me, the most rewarding part is giving each tattoo a unique self-expression. Knowing that my art is meaningful to the person wearing it is truly fulfilling.
What’s your experience at tattoo conventions so far?
I’m still in the early stages and don’t have much experience with conventions yet, but it’s been an exciting journey so far.
Do you remember the first tattoo convention you have ever been to?
Yes! I was both excited and overwhelmed by the whole process—seeing so many incredible artists and their work in one place was truly inspiring.
What’s your primary reason to attend a tattoo convention?
The main reason I attend conventions is to learn and communicate with other artists. It’s a great opportunity to see amazing work and share ideas.
What’s your favorite tattoo convention so far? And why?
For me, The Gods of Ink convention in Germany, is the highest level of artistry. It’s where I’ve seen the best of the best in the tattoo industry.
What advice would you offer to someone considering a career as a tattoo artist?
I would advise anyone interested in tattooing to first learn the basics of painting. Strong foundational skills in art are essential for becoming a great tattoo artist.
Who are the people you admire the most within the tattoo community?
I admire artists like Gimme Love Tattoo and Tattoo Chen. Their work is truly inspiring and influential in my own journey.
What’s your biggest accomplishment as a tattoo artist?
My biggest accomplishment is the recognition of my work by my guests. Their trust in my vision means everything to me.
Do you do other forms of art besides tattooing?
Yes, I love to draw sketches and paper-based drawings. Exploring different mediums helps keep my creativity fresh.
What are your goals or dreams for the near future?
In the near future, I hope to participate in more tattoo contests, collaborate with some of my favorite tattoo artists, and create some amazing pieces together.
