INKORA – Live Tattoo Art & Music Festival 2026
After 13 consecutive editions, the International Tattoo Convention Bucharest enters a new stage of development and will continue under a new name: INKORA – Live Tattoo Art & Music Festival.
This transition reflects a natural evolution of a project that has grown steadily under the coordination of the Tattoo & Piercing Romania Association. The event has reached, over time, a professional level and internationally recognized visibility, becoming a benchmark for the tattoo industry in Eastern Europe and beyond.
The festival remains a project born, developed and supported by the association. It is still the direct expression of the vision and experience accumulated in over a decade of organization. The difference is that this project has reached a level of maturity that allows it to express itself in a broader and more complex format.
As the event has evolved, its format has exceeded the limits of a classic convention. The tattoo remained the central core, but around it essential components that define the current experience have developed: live music, performance, visual art and urban culture. The audience has diversified, and the interest has gone beyond the strictly professional sphere.
The name change to INKORA does not mean a break with the constructed identity, but an assumption of this maturation. It is the natural step of a project that has grown, consolidated and which now extends its dialogue to a wider and more diverse audience.
INKORA is a complete and complex festival, in which the art of tattooing is put into dialogue with music and contemporary artistic expression, maintaining the professional standards and international recognition that have defined the event in recent years.!
