The Explorer Tattoo Conference is for professional tattoo artists who want to move our industry forward. This is a unique learning experience provided by the innovators of the tattoo industry.
Tattoo conventions are a lot of fun. There is energy and excitement. You get to do tattoos around your friends. This is not a tattoo convention. It is 3-days of networking & learning. You will rub elbows with hundreds of tattooers all looking to improve their art & tattooing abilities. Unlike other conference series, you will not have to choose between what seminars to take. You will have access to every seminar. Each presenter has tailored their seminar to make an impact no matter what style of tattoo you make.
ETC was originated in 2016 & a lot of hard work is taking place to make sure you have the best experience possible. Our third location will be St. Louis, Missouri. Our goal is to take some of the world’s greatest and most respected tattooers and make them accessible to our attendees. Their presentations will benefit artists of all styles. Every presenter will be in attendance during each day of the conference. This is your chance to hear their story, ask your questions, and even receive critiques.
With attendance, you will be granted unlimited access to all seminars & panel presentations, as well as a portfolio review by one of our presenters. You will receive a course handbook and syllabus with answers to many of your questions about our presenters set-up and history. We also sweeten the pot by giving every attendee a limited edition, signed and numbered, print from Dave Tevenal. Lastly, you’ll take home a goodie bag filled with things like a conference pin, Lanyard, Ink, Aftercare, tube and needle samples.
We look forward to seeing you in St. Louis.
This conference is for tattoo professionals only.

What should you bring? That’s a good question.
You’re going to meet a lot of new people. You should network with those people. One of the best & most effective ways to do that is to bring business cards. Hand them out & follow each other on social media.
You’re an artist. You should be ready to draw. However you draw, a sketchbook, a tablet, whatever process works for you. Bring that & be ready to work along with some of the presenters.
A notebook & pens/pencils. You’re going to be given a lot of new information. Write it down so you don’t forget it. Video & audio recording is prohibited during the presentations. However, you will have the ability to take notes & we will give you a syllabus for each presentation.
The presenters will have books, prints, etc, all available for purchase. Don’t forget a little spending cash.
In summary, you should bring:
- Business Cards
- Sketchbook and/or Tablet
- Notebook and Pens/Pencils
- Spending Money
- Government Issued Identification
